The ION ROOT is a modular light installation designed by Brazilian architect and designer Caroline Ficker in 2016. Each piece is a unique composition of geometric modules crafted from natural onyx and illuminated by integrated LED lighting. The arrangement and combination of these modules vary with each installation, resulting in a sculptural light piece that functions as both furniture and art.

A notable example of the ION ROOT was auctioned by Bonhams in Paris in December 2022.
