Ernesto Neto is a Brazilian Conceptual artist known for his immersive installations that engage the viewer's senses through touch, sight, smell, and more. Born in 1964 in Rio de Janeiro, Neto continues to live and work in Brazil. He studied at the city's MAM Museum of Modern Art in 1984 and later attended the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage in Rio de Janeiro.
